Asking for the Support Group was created by george
I think that I should be placed in the Support Group with regard to at least one of the ESA50 questions.

Therefore, is it wise to mention this in the "Use This Space" box? For example I believe that I should be placed into the Support Group as................

Or,

Do you consider it could cause them to feel that I am trying to make the decision for them. Thereby, making them not best pleased.

Likewise, is it advisable to mention the Support Group with reference to "Exceptional Circumstances"?

Many thanks,
George

George

There is no reason why you shouldn't mention where you believe you meet the ESA descriptors and why, this is especially the case for the Exceptional Circumstances.

Doing so should have no impact on how your ESA50 is viewed.

I'd say argue to get in the support group. If you have a viable argument, one that makes sense based on your condition and experience of it, then why not try

I believe behind many successful claims/reviews are well researched and detailed writing by the claimant. The worst thing is a minimal effort on the ESA50 Better is lots of detail that is in the context of the descriptors.

At least 3 questions in med assement report that the nurse has wrote puts me in support group.

Modedit: Please try not to post in upper case as it causes problems to members using software to read the screen. Gordon

Lucy, itg sounds like you wre allocated in the WRAG but you think the nurses report provides evidence sufficient for the support group

If so, take the report to your local advice centre and ask them what they think. That is if you are unhappy with the WRAG decision which you probably are
