I'd like to know what is the situation in relation to sending to ATOS added information to descriptor boxes/over flow sheets once it has been mailed. I would also like to send an updated statement from my neighbour. It used to be relatively easy in the past, just send a sheet with full details on/photocopy of new changes to page of benefit form, I suspect that has changed.

Btw, One month simply isn't enough to complete this complex brutal thing, especially if you have cognitive issues....

You can try sending the additional information to the same address as you did your ESA50, include a covering letter and make sure each page has your name and National Insurance Number on it.

I would also send a copy to the DPW office dealing with your claim, marked for the attention of the Decision Maker, marked as above.

Finally, take a copy of the information to the WCA Assessment, if you have one, the ATOS "doctor" should read the information before the interview is started and include the paperwork in your file.

Hi Kontext

You can send additional information to Atos after your ESA50 has already been posted. It should be added to your case file and read by the Approved Disability Analyst but you need to send it in good time and check that it has been received before an assessment. You may also want to take a copy with you should you have an assessment.

Good luck

Derek

Hi kt,

If you have extra evidence, you should post copy to ATOS, at the same address as you sent your ESA50 to, with a covering letter stating that you wish this fresh evidence to be taken into account in addition to your ESA50.

As a back up you could also send copy to the ESA DM, address this F.A.O. the ESA Decision Maker, to the address of the office that deal with your benefits.

Further, if you have to attend a face to face assessment, you could also take a copy to this, and give it to the ATOS HCP, before the assessment starts.

tx, I have one other thing, my submission was well organised, in plastic folders, but the extra/info was seperate to my ESA form and not stapled to it, I am also worried given what happens that I only put one staple in each, can I include in my covering letter a request to staple it all together,(they will need a good stapler!)

it was all very chaotic, trying to catch last post..
