Hi guys does anyone know if you can get a new ESA 50 form from your local job center plus and can you use the downloadable pdf ESA 50 form and fill in that form with ink, i have made a complete hash of the form, thanks.

I doubt that your local JC+ will have copies of the ESA50 as they are issued by ATOS rather than the DWP.

You can either write (after printing) or type (via your computer), onto the downloadable version of the ESA50.

Thank you, would it be best to print on both sides of the paper or just one and just staple them together.

Hi m,

That is entirely upto you.

With regards to attaching the sheets you can either staple them together, or put the pages into cleared plastic pockets and make a file of them in a file holder.

I have noticed they have changed the section carring and lifting on the IB form to Picking up and Moving things at the same level on the Esa form, does this "same level thing" mean a half litre of fluid is put at that level by the little pixies we have helping us out or magically appears at that level for you.Any thing regarding these answers require bending down for or reaching up for, which is totally different to the question they ask and make it nearly impossible to answer!

The descriptor is described in more detail in the ESA Claims on Physical Grounds guide on the following link.

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa

But to be clear, the test is asis, you can certainly argue that factors such as reaching up or down for an object is important or even fundamental, but these requirements are not detailed in the descriptor, and can be legitimately be ignored by the Decision Maker.
