ESA renewal time-scale for decision

Sorry to bother forum but wonder if anyone can explain or suggest anything to help my situation.

After wining my ESA appeal and placed in the support last year. I had to start renewal/ reassessment process again in December. Finally had my new medical in May of this year but I am still waiting for the decision four months on. My case worker rang DWP on my behalf and they said that they had nothing new on there system.

Is there such a backlog of decisions for ESA medical renewals?

Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

Any suggestions for finding out what is going on with my claim?

Hi C,

Yes, there does seem to be a major backlog in coming to decisions.

Many members have reported the same.

Your only option is to keep contacting the DWP.
