Hi D,

I understand your distress, and you have my simpathy.

Unfortunately, I have had to delete your post, as it contains too much personal information, including dates.

If you can repost, and just pose the actually question that you need advice on, we will do our best to help. :)

Best regards.

I have had 2 Tribunal appointments, the first adjourned for more medical notes,(which were sent) the second one being adjourned 2 hours before by phone, for another ATOS medical!
The letter explaing this said First-Tier Tribunal. What is difference in Tiers and can they just inform me 2 hours beforehand that Tribunal being adjourned?

It must be very unsettling to have the appointment cancelled at suc short notice, but I'm afraid that it is allowed (and is slightly better than turning up on the day and being sent home).

All appeals go to the First Tier Tribunal, the Upper Tier can come into play after this is either side thinks there has been an 'error of law' (but not just because they do not agree with the opinion).

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Replied by darcy on topic Re:DLA Tribunal -GP on panel
I made a complaint to GMC about my old GP (which is still going through) the latest Tribunal mentioned him twice, saying that him or anyone that had sat with him on panel before could not be listed on next (3rd) Tribunal. I feel that it is unfair and that because my old GP sits on the Tribunal panel for appeals, I wont be treated fairly because I have made complaint about him.
I feel like giving up!!!I have ME/CFS, RHartery disease, Diabetes type 2,high blood pressure, high cholesterol, have had cancer of bowel (all fine at moment) severe post traumatic stress/depression (Viciously Raped 3 years ago)Have severe allergys (have to carry Epipens) and the stress of all this is getting unbearable. Where can I get help?
