Tribunal to Hear audio recording of Atos medical

Hi all
I had my ESA Tribunal this morning. They kept me waiting for over an hour while they read all the documents. When we finally got in there the Judge said they were adjourning. Decision notice said (amongst other things)

"The appeal was adjourned today because facilities to play a cd rom are required because this is a complex case where there is significant dispute about the medical examination and facilities are needed to play the CD"

I would rather have come away with a win but at least now a tribunal panel get to hear an Atos assessment and will then be able to see for themselves that the report is flawed (putting it mildly)

Out of interest Tilly, did you warn the tribunal in advance that you would be taking a CD as evidence (I am assuming that it was your copy, not DWP's) or did you just turn up with it on the day?

I had referred to it throughout my Atos complaint document that I submitted to the tribunal but I did not say I was bringing it with me. Someone here said some time ago a tribunal wouldn't listed to a recording

This is the first case we have heard of, here or elsewhere, where the Tribunal have been interested in the recording of the assessment. From your original post there are clearly issues that the Tribunal panel felt required that they listen to the recording, so we are all interested in hearing the outcome, if you are able to let us know.

Hi Gordon and all
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner with an update. I have been pretty ill - basically the whole process from losing my job in December 2011 and putting in a claim for ESA up until the adjournment of the tribunal hearing made me very ill.

Anyway, about a week after the adjournment I received a letter from DWP informing I had been placed in the Support Group for 2 years and about a week after that the ESA arrears appeared in my bank account!

I would like to be able to say that is the end of that but as we all know PIP starts next year. Also the fight is not over for me. I am still chasing up complaints to Atos and DWP re Data Protection breaches and will not stop until the false, inaccurate etc info is removed from DWP files on me.
