Tribunal Hearing was created by Milly
I have just had a grilling at a Tribunal Hearing. Is this supposed to be impartial because I found the experience humiliating and demeaning.

They did not wish to hear about my physical and mental problems. My advocate was with me and he heard them say , that because I had turned up this implied a coping ability. I told them that i only made it because If I not turned up for whatever reason a decision would be made in my absence and I could have a worse outcome. They agreed this was a no win situation. Each action was a negative?

No result until the post tomorrow. Whatever the outcome the process is still appalling.

Son's tribunal is tomorrow - am prepared as much as I can be but am dreading it:-(

I think I have submitted plenty of evidence, GP report, Opticians report, SW report to say they he would need support if he lived in his own home etc - this is from WRAD to support group

Any last words of wisdom?

Hi I,

You could have a final read over, "What to do at the hearing", from page 31 onwards of "Employment and Support Allowance appeals
35 page guide to revisions and appeals for ESA"

5th link down this page :

ESA Guides

You could also have a look at this video :

MOJ Video of ESA Appeals Process and Tribunal

Good luck, and please let us know how you get on. :)
