How long should a WCA last? was created by installspark
Just got back from my WCA.

All the HCP did was observe my walking, and stumble, explained the procedure, asked if the way I walk is the norm, checked my meds, asked about my back and post op sciatica, examined the range of movement in both arms/shoulders and then said they weren't going to continue as they'd got enough information.

This took a total of 15 mins

Is this normal, or should I be readying an appeal??

The WCA was recorded.

Whilst I have heard of short assessments, where the ATOS "doctor" did not discharge their responsibility to assess the claimant, this does not sound to be the case here, although I could be completely wrong.

You can request the ESA85 assessment report from the DWP, although they may not provide a copy until a Decision has been made on your claim, apart from that there is little you can do but wait to see what happens.
