:)
I dont get to post much due to my caring responsibilities to my wife but i would just like to say a huge thank you to all at B&W for the great guides on here

After a successful transfer from I.S to ESA support group in june the dreaded D.L.A renewal arrived 5 weeks ago

the last award was 2006 high care and mobility so the form had changed quite a lot since then

i followed the guides on here and sent from off, and wife heard today she has been awarded again high care and mobility indefinately

thank you so much we couldnt have done it without you

There is no such thing now as an 'indefinate'term now, mine was "indefinately" but DSS have changed the legislstion and can re look at these claims to, as they have done with me!!!

Hi J,

I'm afraid that you are mistaken, with respect to DLA awards.

There are still indefinate awards, I feel that you may be getting confused in so much as there are no longer any "life awards" these were superceded to indefinate awards sometime ago.

All DLA awards can be reviewed under : The Right Payment Programme , as you will see, all DLA recipients can be reviewed at any time after they have been in receipt of their DLA Award for 12 months or more. This is not a given though, and is done at random on an annual basis.

Of course, we have the introdution of PIP to contend with for all working age DLA recipients from October 2013, see :
