Atos home vist was created by SoulMan
I have a medical examination in 2 weeks time

I have suffered from mobility problems for some years however a earlier this year i was involved in a car crash which has made it alot worse.

I unable to walk or dress my self, The only way i can get around is in a wheel chair or on crutches but only with help from another person.

My partner works a 9-5 mon- friday and so i am by my self almost everyday.

Does anybody know what the opening times for atos medical exam centers are? I could attend if i can get an appointment after 6 o'clock.

I can't find any "opening hours" but I doubt that you will be able arrange an assessment after 6:00pm, however, their assessment centres are open on a Saturday, so this may offer a solution.

I am a bit confused by the title of your post "ATOS home visit", which you make no reference to :)

If you are thinking of requesting this, then you will need the support of your GP, as they will need to contact ATS to explain why a home visit is required, even then ATOS are not obliged to grant one.

Not to sound harsh you'll have to attend the time they say basically. Although you can cancel one appointment. You say ATOS home visit on the thread title and you have a medical in two weeks in your post! I'm a tad confused have you a medical in a fortnight and if so where and for what benefit?

I have just heard of someone being granted a home visit without even asking - so maybe that is a sign that things are changing on that front (or maybe it was just a random hint of humanity!).

Sorry i should have been bit more clear i would like to request a home vist based on the fact that i don't have anybody available to take me as i need physical help, Its not easy for my partner to get time off work. but she finishes at 5 oclock so i could attend after 6 when she gets back.
