ESA to Pension Credit Gaurentee was created by DUNSTON
I am receiving Pension Credit Gaurentee benefit and my wife receives Incapacity Benefit. On the 7 December 2012 my wife will have her ESA assessment which she is dreading and is very stressed about. We are hoping she is migrated into the ESA Support group due to her de-generative back health situation. But if she was to be put into the ESA WRAGG group this would cause her to be completely stressed and bring on a state of depression. As I am receiving Pension Credit Gaurentee benefit, could my wife ask for her ESA WRAGG group benefit to be stopped and could I then claim Pension Credit for us as a couple. If this is possible how would I go about it.

I am afraid we cannot give such detailed advice, I would recommend you get face to face advice from your local CAB or Welfare Rights office.

Try Googling "welfare advice" with your town or county.
