The ESA group and the type of ESA are completely independant of each other.

So you can be in the SG and receive ESA(IR) or ESA(CB) or ESA(CB) with an ESA(IR) top up :)

Yeah I appreciate that Gordon but reading between the lines I think Brian means will the amount of household income, savings etc have a detrimental effect on the amount of ESA paid if in the support group. Which surely would be no.

If they are receiving ESA(IR) in whole or in part, then household income would potentially effect their payments, hopwever this is exactly the same whether you are in the SG or the WRAG, because the group you are in is completely independant of the type of ESA you receive and vice versa.
