request for documents was created by pollyanna2627
New to the site. Having been placed in the WRAG without a medical I requested copies of ALL documents both by telephone and letter. I was specific in my request. I received my ESA85A but have now discovered that my doctor submitted ESA113 five weeks ago. I was not supplied with a copy of this. I will make a further request for it. I am attending my first WFI in 2 weeks time and I am appealing against the decision. Many thanks for all the valuable advice and help. So many sad stories.

If you made a Subject Access Request for the information you can make a complaint to the Information Commissioner, otherwise you could make a complaint to the DWP, see

Complaining to the DWP

Piece of string question now! Same as pollyanna2627 I was placed in Wrag with out a face to face assessment. I've sent off for the relevant forms, using the template from this site. At the same time I sent of a downloaded GL24 for the appeal process.

I've received notification they've received the appeal forms how long will it take to get the relevant forms requested?

Hi K,

As any written request for personal information should be classed as a formal request for the above, it is covered under the Data Protection Act 1998. Therefore the requested information sould be provided with 40 days of receipt of the request. I did say "SHOULD" though !!!

See : www.dwp.gov.uk/privacy-policy/data-protection/
