I have now deleted my original post on the late opening, so any replies were automatically deleted by the forum software.

This may be an opportune time to remind members that the forum facility is not part of your membership; it is provided as a courtesy. Your subscription fee covers the ability to read and/or download all guides and other material in the 'members only' area.

The forum has to be locked and unlocked manually by Steve Donnison the site owner.
Moderators software does not allow them to open or lock the forum.

It is inevitable that at times due to other work commitments, or tech difficulties, Steve may not be able to lock or unlock the forum exactly on time. There are times when the forum may be unlocked late. However, on the other hand, there are also times when it is closed late. Also, most moderators reply to posts even when the forum is locked when officially they are 'off duty' so as not to leave any queries unanswered when the forum is locked. Moderators are not required to do this, but do it regularly because they care about others, despite their own health problems.

Any queries about the forum, including opening or closing times should be sent to Steve at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and not posted in the forum since to reiterate, moderators have no control over these matters.

Thank you for your cooperation.
