ATOS Christmas Hours

Just wondering if anyone knows what hours ATOS work over the holiday period as my ESA50 questionaire has to be in by the 21st of December. So expecting a medical sometime soon after that...

Hi L994,

I am not aware of ATOS's opening hours over the Xmas period.

I should imagine that they will be closed for the usual Bank Holidays. They have been working 7 days a week in the assessment centres.

Make sure that your ESA50 is returned to arrive with ATOS no later than 21/12/12.

You may wish to contact ATOS regarding the Xmas period opening hours for the assessment centres, even though it is possible that you may not have to have a face to face if they feel that you have provided enough evidence in the ESA50.

Your main concern for now, should be getting the ESA50 returned by the deadline.

I know of one person having to go for a face to face assessment on Christmas Eve and another on New Years Eve.

The form is not a problem as going out special delivery so I have proof when it arrives... Have also checked christmas last postal dates.

I am hoping to get a home assessment if I need a medical as it is not safe for me to attend the assessment centre... I have been granted one previously so have got information ready to send from consultant and GP to confirm the need for a home assessment.
