Hi sd,
In an ideal situation any medical evidence that you may be providing should be as current as possible.
Preferably, no older than 12 months old. However, if you have a 2 year old in depth report that is still pertinent to your current conditions and resulting limitations, you should state as much and, Yes, I would use the report. Besides anything else, it may help to show that you suffer from chronic, longstanding, progressive conditions. (if that is the case)
You also state that you are providing current evidence, which is a positive.
