hi
plz could u help. I received a decision on my IB to ESA transfer dated 7/12/12 to say I am in the WRAG.
I requested a copy of DMs report that is dated 15/06/12.
I t says my award is payable till 21/07/2013 but my arguement is that ot took them so long to tell me and I could have been looking for work in that time. Instead I only now have 6 mths till my benefit is stopped.
Can I still appeal.

On the assumption that the date on the letter informing you of the this is on or about 05/12/12, then this is the date of the Decision, as it is the date on the letter informing you of the Decision that defines when it applies from, rather than the date on any DWP internal documentation.
Even if this is not the case you could still make a late appeal on the basis that you were not notified of the Decision until the date of the letter.
