PC

Enjoy your break, I'm certainly looking forward to mine, although I think I may be exchanging the stress of the forum for cooking Christmas dinner

Not sure if moderators and members have noticed, but it's no longer possible to post in News, formerly Benefits News.

This is again due to the site upgrade and will be resolved in the New Year.

There are not unexpectedly glitches following the software upgrade.

Steve has posted the link for moderators and members to post in Benefits News, but there are still glitches in the forum in the search forum facility and these will be corrected ASAP.

Please bear with us.

Hi and Happy New Year to all moderators and members.

I am trying to be patient, but I am still not able to access my previous posts. Any help with this would be very welcome.

Also, I now have an appointment for my first ESA Personal Advisor Interview in just over a week. I am 3 weeks post op having had complications due to severe allergic reaction to anaesthetic during op, housebound due to chest infection, and post op wound slow healing, under care of district nurses at home. I need to be accompanied as I can't manage my wheelchair alone, and my carer has an appointment of his own to attend elsewhere at the time of my appointment. I am waiting for a response to reconsideration WRAG to support group. Do I really have to attend Personal Advisor appointment?

Hi PC,

You should contact the PA and inform them that you are too unwell to attend, and mention that your carer is unavailable also.

You could also ask your G.P. to contant them and confirm this.

Unfortunately, unless you can get them to defer the appointment, or carry it out over the phone, you will have to attend.

Hurrah! I have just managed to find my previous posts, so sorry to be giving your moderators grief. It has only become possible in the last few minutes.
For some reason I have to log in every time I change pages though.

Ah well, I have enough to be going on with now I have found posts. Also, have been able to get into FAQs, so sorry for asking about need to attend Personal Adviser appointment. I have the answers now.
