I'm giving up for the time being. Teething troubles are to be expected in website update. I guess I'll take an early Christmas holiday and try to forget about DWP until the new year. Just hope they forget about me for a while too.

Once again, thank you to all at b&w for all your advice and support. I do appreciate the time and effort you al put in. Happy Christmas to you all

Hi,

Just wanted to check that when all the kinks have been sorted out, will I l be able to access all my previous posts? As I can't blinking remember what I've previously asked. (due to slowily going insane :) ).

Also is it just my eyesight or does typing messages in the blue ink colour send your eyes funny?

All of your previous posts have been transferred in to the new software, however, we appear to have a problem with the forum search at the moment, which means that the only way, at the moment, to find your previous posts is to manually search the forum.

I've reported it to tech support and I'm hoping that it is nothing more than an incorrect url, but until they come back to me, there's nothing more that we can do.

The forum search is working again although you have to be careful using it.

Click the "Search Link" button at the top of the topic list, it is to the right of the "announcements" button.

A new page will open, scroll down until you find a link for "search the forum from this link" and click on it

The search window will open.

Complete as necessary, BUT BEFORE CLICKING SEARCH you need to select the "DLA & ESA Queries & Results" entry in the category section.

If you don't change the category you will get an error message, just hit your browser back button to go back to the search screen.

Cheers Gordon

But I never break a promise, so as I have promised myself a holiday from DWP stuff I have put all the benefit business away until the new year, and have happily slipped into festive mode. Will revisit it all in January.

Sometimes it helps just to take a step back and forget all the stress and angst of it all. The rest may inspire me.

Hope all of you moderators can enjoy a break too.
