ME, ESA form was created by Petunia
Hi, I'm currently filling in my ESA form. I'm on income support just now and have been for over 10yrs. I've had ME for well over 10yrs. As there are dayd when I can do more than others and some days far less than others, do I fill in the form as if it's my worst day or give some kind of average? Thanks

You should tell them how you usually are, then also tell them what you are like at worst and how often that occurs.

Detailed advice can be found in our ESA guide

Thanks. How I 'normally am' doesn't apply very easily as it varies so much.

Then you should tell them that, giving the range of problems and how often they occur.

The following may help

ESA Regulations 2008
34(2) A descriptor applies to a claimant if that descriptor applies to the claimant for the majority of the time or, as the case may be, on the majority of the occasions on which the claimant undertakes or attempts to undertake the activity described by that descriptor.
