Hi,
I received one of these A2 forms to fill in back in December (I receive income support top up with my carer’s allowance).

Sent the completed for back on 15th December from the Benefit Integrity Centre in Hastings, Dept MU47…which sounded a bit scary, not much on the web about these lot!

Received a call yesterday saying they needed clarification of my bank details as I had written them down wrongly on the new form, no problem.

I asked if all was ok, and he said yeah, it went to a decision maker who looked at the large deposit to my account in Sept, but said everything was fine as it was an insurance claim because of loss and everything “as was” and will receive a letter confirming this in a few days… I did have a very large cheque deposited, for an insurance claim from the summer floods.

I have also attended work focussed interviews, every 3 years fro the last 9 years, they basically last around 10 minutes and ask if your circumstances have changed. Mine haven’t and was told “see you in 3 years”.

The last WFI was in August 2012, then I received this A2 to fill in December also, I didn’t question it, nothing to hide, perhaps a little paranoid, so filled it in and sent it straight back… it seems they were looking at the large amounts of money going through my bank account recently….not sure how they found out, I know I probably should have, but just didn’t think to notify them because of everything going on with the flood.
