Having read forum posts I am going to be claiming limited capability for work related activity. I understand the specific clauses and evidence required etc.

My question is whereabouts on the ESA50 form is it best to state that you are claiming limited capability for work related activity? Obviously this is something I want to make clear from the outset to ATOS and so I was thinking of putting it in the section "About your illnesses or disabilities" and then referring to the attached/enclosed information?

Thank you

Hi MSC,

You could make the statement that is relevant to your qualification under the SG descriptors, e.g. if you feel that you qualified under mobilising, it could be highlighted in the "Moving Around" section.

It could also be stated on a seperate A4 sheet, drawing reference to it from the relevant section of the ESA50.

It is entirely up to you, the main thing is that you do clarify it, and draw attention to it. I know someone who mentioned it where pertinent within the ESA50, and then went into detail also on a seperate A4, placed right at the beginning of the ESA50.
