Is there any truth in this? was created by nad1611
I find it hard to believe there's any truth in the two links below, one because it's the only place I've read it and two because of how few signed the petition. I can't find this anywhere else on the internet and if not true it really highlights the fact that we all need to be very careful about we interpret things we read etc.

Universal Credit will replace a number of Income Related benefits such as Income Support, JSA(IR) and ESA(IR), there are currently no plans to replace any Contribution Based benefits such as JSA(CB) and ESA(CB) which will continue in parallel to UC.

Well that's what I thought I wonder where this person misinterpreted this info from. She must have believed it enough to get a petition going, very strange!
