DLA and Blue Badge

My application for DLA has been turned down. One of the things that they say they can't consider is 'the blue badge scheme'. I have a blue badge from my local council and obviously I mentioned this in my application. Is it true to say they can't consider it or is it more the case that they have chosen not to consider it?

I have other issues with the decision revolving around walking and those magic words reliably, repeatedly and safely.

Even though the awarding of The Blue Badge would not qualify you for The Mobility Component in itself, if you had a medical or a report was filled in by your G.P. or other treating HCP, to gain the Blue Badge, and said report helps to show that you fulfill the Mobility DLA qualifying criteria, it should be helpful evidence.

You could make a request for a copy of any such support, if you don't already have one.
