not sure if I can ask this question on this site, but he goes.
I have recently had to move through devorce. my last house catered for my needs well, but this house is a townhouse(had no other options, had to move fairly quickly and could not get any help)
i am going to have to use the ground floor for my medical equipement, ie spar3e oxygen cylinders, bi pap machine, nebuliser, i use these during the day and will find it easier going down the stairs to this equipment rather than going up the stairs to use it. After having the treatment it is then easier to climb back up the stairs. I have no other room to store this. I was told i may be able to get council tax band down because of this. Is this right and if so how do i word it on form. The way of described is quit long winded.
Thanks in advance Michelle

It is not really our area but have a look at the following as a starter.

Hiya,

I too have a council tax reduction as I use the 2nd bedroom to house all my aids (1 band down as you said)

Easiest thing to do is phone your local Council tax dept and ask them what they wish you to put on the form.

They may suggest they send someone to visit the property to ascertain where you will be placing your aids/equipment and then they will sort out the council tax change for you as this is what they did for me.

Hope this helps
