Apologies if i've posted this wrongly, not sure if should have done new thread. The dreaded letter arrived today and my case is for tribunal. On looking over the paperwork (the letter is not dated) they acknowledge i have bowel problems but do not accept that i have this on a weekly basis, need to carry change of clothes, wipes etc. They have said i'm unlikely to return to work in the long term. All of the paperwork, except for the second decision makers remarks just saying he agreed to the first decision, i already have. in fact it is what i sent them initially?? There is also a page headed Harmful Information - not to be copied to the client?? I don't know how i can prove that i have this problem - they don't appear to accept the consultant's diagnosis!!!

This is particularly difficult as it is obviously the kind of problem that you would want to keep as private as possible. Does anyone live with you? If so, would they be able to add a statement describing how often you have such incidents?

Mrs H u are so right. I find this so embarrassing and humiliating and to have to discuss my condition is a total nightmare! My hubby and sisters have been very helpful and understanding as unfortunately they have had to help me when i've been "caught out" My hubby will attend the tribunal with me and i know he will back me up. Would letters from my sisters help too? Thank you again
