Good afternoon, i am attempting to fill in my ESA 50
i'm a bit confused by Q8 getting around safely
"This section asks about visual problems. If you normally use glasses or contact lenses,
a guide dog or any other aid, tell us how you manage when you are using them.
Please also tell us how well you see in daylight or bright electric light."
i take this to mean only sight and visul problems would count.
Not problems experienced due to severe anxiety / agoraphobia and needing someone with you.

Hi vision,
You are correct in the way that you have interpreted this. Q8 deals speficially, and soley, with problems that arise from sensory impairment (such as hearing or visual impairment).

Some advice please.
I went to GP's armed with a letter asking for their support. Added support group descriptors i think apply to me and also wording of regulations 29 & 35 which might apply for their reference.
Also put i would need a home visit for assessment.
GP gave me some Diazepam too as my nerves are already in shreds.
Can i put on the ESA50 i would need a home visit?
Asked mental health team for support letter too

Yes, you should refer to this requirement on the ESA50 and it will need to be supported by letters from those who treat you.

It is not a definite no, but I do think you would struggle to score points under these circumstances, for example descriptors 8(a) and 8(c) make specific reference to navigation, so you may only be able make an argument for 8(b) which is in relation to you "completing a potentially hazardous task" and even then the cited example is crossing the road.
