ESA Payments

I have received a letter from the DWP informing me that from April rates are changing.

Due to me already having more than the the law says you need to live on I will not see and increase.

BUT

from November 2013 my rates are going up by £10.

What's this all about, surely they could saved a few bucks and not send these letters out

Hi WD,

This part of the letter :

"Due to me already having more than the the law says you need to live on I will not see and increase."

Is to do with Transitional Protection, see :

What will I be paid?

This extract :

" from November 2013 my rates are going up by £10."

Will be because you will be entitled to The £10 Xmas Bonus from the first week of December 2013.

These annual benefit uprating letters are sent out as a matter of course.
