I was wondering if anyone knew the current timescale for decisions. I sent my ESA50 special delivery on 12th of February - currently on incapactiy benefit. My husband called ATOS today to see if a decision had been made and was told it was currently being looked at by a doctor. The whole process is very distressing for me and I am relapsing with my bipolar, just wondered if its likely to be weeks or months before they decide if i have to go to a medical or go straight into one of the two groups.

I am afraid that there is not a definitive answer to your query, we have heard from members who have received a decision within a few weeks of returning their ESA50, other have not heard anything for several months.
The only option open to you is to continue to contact ATOS for updates.
