Oh right thanks Gordon,

I would like to send some kind of submission as well though sooner rather than later, as i did'nt send much with the GL24 form wish i had now .
Any advise would be welcome as to what to send or say , i,m thinking something like my DLA award letter which i had to send for to renew my blue badge May 2012 it is an indefinate award i know it's a different benefit to the one i'm appealing but surely the 50 metres mobilising distance is relevant, also my anti depressants have been changed to something different and a much higher dose, also what about copies of my fit notes, as i said any help please.

For my appeal my submission started with a short summary of why I met the criteria for the WRAG, followed by a detailed explanation, then my reasons why I disagreed with the medical report and finally references to documents on my condition, case law, etc.

The Tribunal can only consider evidence that is relevant to the date of the original Decision, so the fact that your anti-depressants have been increased may not be looked at.

Your Blue Badge award is evidence of disability, but remember the test is of your ability to mobilise, which includes the use of a wheelchair, so at best this will only address the issue in part.

You can request a copy of your medical records, see

Have a look on this site and see if anyone there can help you. I attended my partners first hearing and they took more interest in me than him so I contacted the law society and the put me in touch with a free legal advice centre - the link above is the alternative in England I believe.

Hi Gordon,

I have got my medical records i paid for them early last year when this whole process started.

Do you know how long hospitals keep their records on a person because all of my procedures happened over 20 years ago, and is it possible for me to obtain them.
From your last post to me on this topic i'm assuming you appealed a fit for work decision is that the case and did you win your appeal i'm just interested being a bit nosey lol
