esa support group was created by mike1983
i have lots of evidence relating to my autism some of these letters from when i was a child akll the way upto about wen i was 19, im sending photocopys of those letters with the esa form when i send it back via recorded delivery, if i fill in and meet any of the support requirements which alot of the questions in the new esa form relate to autism will i be put in the support group if i meet the descriptors and send all the evidence i have, and whats the succes rate of getting into the support group and if im pnot in the support group how do i appeal for it or cant i do that no more

If ATOS believe that you have provided enough evidence of your entiitlement to ESA then they will recommend that you are given this without a face-to-face assessment. This could be WRAG or Support Group.

If ATOS believe that they need to see you face-to-face in order to make a recommendation you will be required to attend such an assessment. The result of this could be 'fit for work', 'WRAG' or 'Support Group'.

If you are denied ESA, or put into the WRAG you will have the right to appeal - but I suggest that we cross that bridge when we come to it! :)

so if im put in wrag group all i have to do is go on those work focused interviews cos i remember when i was like 16 before i heard about IB benefit that JSA and new deal and all that had courses you had to go on for like 13 weeks like at A4E i hope there not on wrag if i get put in it and my appeal fails, cos as im autistic i cant cope with that

Try not to worry for now, have a look at the ESA FAQ's that I posted for you. There are FAQ's on WFI's and The Works Programme there.
