In the whole assessment process some facts (eg mental)are undoubtedly subjective and not written in stone.
For example "should"someone who has minor behaviour disturbances maybe gets into a row with passengers now and again on say a crowded bus be labelled as"problematic with the crowds/public"?
No one really knows for sure its all relative.
A major worry of many Claimants is that symptoms so reported could be mis-interpreted as untrue or exxagerated and can be hard to demonstrate to the satisfaction of assessors.....
It must be a very difficult job.
My question what are the statistics for accidental prosecutions for "attempted"fraud as opposed to "discovery after the event"(eg someone with a 'bad back' is seen to be humping sacks of potatoes in the market)
You never hear of cases in the tabloids of unscrupulous people "attempting to play the system".
Say a Claimant fills out the questionaire and provides toatally contradictory information for example.
What does ATOS do with it?

There are figures for fraud, but I have never seen them broken down beyond the headline figures.

All I can say is that the ESA50 constitutes a legal document in connection to ESA, so claimants should complete it as honestly as possible, failing to do so, can lead to serious ramifications.
