DLA was created by Poppy
I have been on DLA for 4.5 years & I have just received a DLA form to be filled in & returned in 3 weeks could I ask if this is one of these random ones that people sometimes get. I was hoping as I am on indefanant award I might have had until 2015 but if you could confirm that it was random as I have only 3 weeks to return it.

It certainly sounds as if you are being reviewed under the 'Right Payment Program'

The Right Payment Programme

Be sure to make full use of our DLA guide

One of the reasons I got worried was I am literally in-between doctors. I have moved house & just picked up forms from new health centre on Friday & received the brown envelope on Saturday. Would you advise me to get letter from gp. or as it under right payment is it not neccesary. Its just my gp. who I had been with for 15 retired & the new one doesnt know me that well.

Hi P,

Even though it may be a review under The RPP I would advise you to treat it as a full claim.

Any current letters or documentation that supports the existence of your Care Needs and/or Mobility limitations should only help.
