i have been given ESA(CB) migrating from IB. i have asked for the decision to place me in WRAG to be looked at again hoping to be moved to SG. however since i've asked them to reconsider my case it has come to light very recently that after an MRI scan i have an abnormality inside my right cheek/jaw which could and has, been prone to bleeding/bruising and painful swelling, which could cause a thrombosis (obv not good)! no treatment available only one of which a side effect is blindness, or surgery which risks disfigurement. should i contact DWP and let them know of these new findings and the consequences or should i mention it at my work focussed interview next Thursday? this whole business is becoming a nightmare no wonder we are all stressed by it. can do without it all! many thanks in anticipation of an informative answer.

Hi d,

You could update the DWP with regards to these newly diagnosed conditions.

However, any reconsideration or ensuing appeal will only look at your medical conditions and resulting limitations at the time of the adverse WRAG decision.
