Hi Kate

I wouldn't worry to too much about who did and didn't fill in your form for you. What matters is that you signed it at the end and therefore take responsibility for everything in the application being true.

If you must ay anything, well what about saying a friend helped you to write the form as you couldn't manage it all yourself. Not a lie, by any means.

Please don't worry about it. And good luck with the application.

My completed PIP form was sent without any supporting evidence because it wasn't ready.

DWP received my PIP form yesterday (Thirsday). I can send the supporting evidence on Monday, Special Delivery.

Do I send this supporting evidence to DWP or do the PIP applications get send to Atos/Capita assessors immediately they are received by DWP?

Hi k,

I notice from your previous topics : Here that you have made several topics on what is basically the same subject, PIP !

I know that it seems that I am constantly "nagging" members regarding posting all their related queries to the one topic but that is because it makes our giving advice a lot easier if we can see all the previous related queries that you have made and the responses that we have given in the one topic rather than searching back !! :)

Sometimes, when a member keeps posting queries on the same topic under different stand alone topics this can result in the wrong advice being given.

So, can you please try and keep all your future PIP related posts to the one topic !! :)

As an aid to doing this, You can Bookmark/Favourite this page in your Internet Browser. That way you can return to this topic easily to pose any further related PIP queries that you may have by replying to the topic.

Over the weekend, I will tidy up all your PIP related topics into the one topic and give it the title "kate's PIP Queries Topic" that way you should be able to spot it easily to Bookmark/Favourite.

Now to your query ! :)

If you still have the return address that you posted your PIP 2 Form to, you can post the additional evidence to that address, it will take DWP some days to send your PIP 2 over to your AP. (ATOS or Capita)

It will then take further time for The AP to get round to looking at your PIP 2 and other evidence.

If you don't still have that address, you could contact the PIP Helpline and ask them for the correct address :

PIP helpline :

Telephone: 0345 850 3322

Textphone: 0345 601 6677

Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

If you know who your AP is, you can also contact them from the links below, for an address to post it to.

If you don't know who your AP is, you can check : Here.

Contact Capita.

Contact ATOS PIP top right of page

As a safeguard, you could send copy, (always keep originals) to both the DWP address and the AP address, and as a further backup, you could provide a copy for The PIP Assessor at your face to face if you need to have one, before the assessment begins.

You could include a covering letter stating that you wish this extra evidence to be taken into account along with your PIP 2 Form.

Sending Documents to the DWP, ATOS, Capita or Maximus.

I'm sorry ! I now understand the difficulties of not keeping all our posts within one thread for the Moderators ! I didn't understand this reminder that B&W kept asking us about.

I thought a different topic about PIP meant making a different posting & heading.

As I go through the topics posted on here, I generally just looked at the headings relevant to the areas I need clarifying. I have noticed though, that when I've followed a thread beyond the topic heading, a lot more knotty problems & good advice unfold (that have nothing to do with the original heading).

Thank you all - lifesaver Mods - for being there for us.

Do DWP make decisions without sending it on to an Assessment Provider?
