No this is not what I am saying at all!
Your problem is that you are treating the PC and the SDP as separate payments, they are not!
You will receive one PC payment, the amount that you are entitled will be increased because you are entitled to the SDP, from this total amount there will be deductions for your savings if they exceed £10,000.

Hello Gordon, thanks for your reply. Sorry for my confused state. It must be like pulling teeth for you, ha!
I suppose my confusion came from the fact that SDP shows as separate payment on my ESA letters so I presumed it would be a separate payment with my pen cred. Anyway I think it has all finally sunk in now, thanks so much for ur patience.
It dawned on me this morn that as my current savings are remnants of my back payments for SDP and EDP wouldn’t this be exempt from being treated as savings? I’m sure I read somewhere that this is the case for up to 52weeks. Although I will now need to check that the back pay was less than 52 weeks ago.

Have made my application for the pen cred. Am shaking from head to foot. They insist on it being over the phone. I got all confused n tongue tied. Wish I’d waited till support worker was with me. All them questions. Just hope I answered them properly. Think will ask support worker to check with them next time she calls round.
Seems no end to it. Hoped would be an end to it once retired but no such luck.
Anyway thanks so much for your help

Oh PP so sorry you're still struggling with stuff! Hoping that in the 6 weeks or so since you last posted things are sorted out for you.
Things ticking away here, spent more than half the year in Wales (long story!). Hoping to get back there for Christmas.
