Ok thanks for reply Godon. Still, the 'occasionally' looks interesting but I will wait until I indeed get the decision letter :)

Oh shaking shaking shaking! Just got DWP letter. It keeps mentioning I am in the support group. I am too scared to believe it in case its not true. If it is a decision letter it was a quick decision. Only took a couple o weeks if so. Could anyone give me a clue as to how to tell diff between decision of an award and just the annual letter, which I never received this year as was going through the reassessment process. Only signing with a smiley as too scared to use a laugh one at this stage :) :silly:

OK, this sounds 'cautiously optimistic'!

Although DWP were very late with the annual letters, I haven't heard of any being received recently.

Does your letter explain what to do if you do not agree with the decision? If so, this suggests that it is a new decision (and vice versa).

However, the only way you can be absolutely sure is to contact DWP and ask :(

Hello Mrs H, yes it says 'what to do if you think this decision is wrong', and it goes on to say that if I think the decision is wrong I must get in touch with them within one month of the date of the letter. Also I can appeal the decision but not until I have asked for a mandatory reconsideration. Also goes on to say I can ask for a written statement of reasons for the decision. Oh I think I mite be feeling cautiously optimistic now too. Ooops shouldn'ta said that! :)

DWP have never been known for the clarity of their communication - but it does sound rather like a decision letter!
