Glad you have found the strength to begin the MR process PP! How did I miss your update on this? Sorry!

I'm sure you know that I'm behind you, offering The Vibes, and hoping so much that you get the help you need from DWP. Please keep in touch and let us know how it's going.

I know how hard this is for you - kudos for going on with it!

Cyber hugs from Liverpool, as always! :) Maggie

Hello Maggie, thanx for your kind words of support. Support worker visited agen recently. We went thru the activities briefly and she took notes ready to prepare letter to send for MR. She is due to visit agen next week so we can go thru it before it gets sent off. I don't wish to sound ungrateful but I don't have much confidence in her. She couldn't remember how many points are needed for standard or enhanced awards, which of course I do because of this wonderful site. Also when I mentioned sending in my esa85 report which was spot on and got me in support group for ESA, she pointed out correctly that they are separate benefits with different criteria, but added she didn't think it a good idea anyway because it might get their backs up and it best not to antagonise them. I thought this was a weak negative comment. The other thing is when we went thru activities together I was very poorly wi throat infection and just didn't av the energy to explain things fully.

Anyway can only wait n see wot she's written and if it ain't too bad let it get sent off as DWP only rubber stamp assessors report anyway. And fighting it at this stage could be a pointless task. Save my energies for the appeal. AND do that myself with the best help available from B&W. I am a bit worried anyway about too much reliance on MH services as I feel they are wanting to pull me in a direction I don't want to go. I don't want to be fighting them at the same time as fighting DWP. Thats me moan over!! :)

Well done for pursuing your claim Porthole Pete. Yes save your energy for the Tribunal if you don't get an award at MR. But you may be lucky like me & be successful at MR. Keep us updated.

Well I thought I may as well join Appealers Inc. :) . Thought it best to appeal rather than start new claim as I would end up having to face another automaton (tap tap tap on the flaming keyboard) and the inevitable lies on yet another assessment report and then still av to face appealing anyway. May as well go for appeal this time round and maybe get the chance to speak to someone face to face who may be on my side and possibly listen to how my disabs affect me. Now there's a novelty!!

There's so much more I wanted to mention but head has done a runner on me, I'm so tired, and I can no longer concentrate. So saying toodles for now!! :)

Hi just read this and wanted to say you might feel better dealign with Appeals, they were more efficient I found than DWP.

Also why not send in support group statement from ESA? I did this and not sure if it antagonised them but i won my paper appeal, it's all evidence isn't it.
