Unbelievable!  Got letter from DWP on Saturday...

"I'm writing to tell you we've applied to Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) for a correction for the decision made on 12 June 2017. I'm sorry we won't be able to pay you the benefit awarded by the First-tier Tribunal until we receive the corrected decision. The courts have typed the wrong start date of your award for benefit and needs to be corrected."

So after all the faffing around for over a year now we have a final FU! At least I hope it's the final one - now I'm shaking in my shoes and expecting they'll go to Upper Tribunal.

I can imagine it is hugely frustrating that there is a further delay, but if they were going to appeal then I would expect them to have requested a Statement of Reasons rather than a correction to the Decision Notice.

Thank you Gordon. After so long worrying about the whole thing to get a further setback was worrying.

After near a year of dealing with DWP, including getting my MP involved with my complaint about ATOS assessment, I am totally neurotic about the (expletive deleted as to what I'd call them).

Obviously I'll let the Forum know when I get any further news.

Just after TS made the mistake over not telling me when to attend , now this, just makes me very cross.
