Loads of brown envelopes recently! One each for me and OH about the winter heat thing. :P Then there was another addressed to "The boiler owner" trying to sell us insurance for our gas boiler! :silly: But no response to my MR yet.

Got results of my colonography, no signs of cancer :) but do have diverticular disease. GP says I need to eat high fibre diet. Got letter from hospital today with appt 22 December, we've managed to change it already as we hope to be at caravan over Christmas, so if we can manage it we'll be there by then. Re-arranged for January.

Also got letter from GP asking me to go for more blood tests. Usual basic stuff plus for C reactive protein (as I understand it's a measure of inflamation that's better than the standard ESR in usual Full Blood Count). But yesterday had a visit to picture framer to arrange framing of an original Rowson cartoon that was published in the Grauniad :)

Anyway, too knackered to go get blood stuff done today after the outing yesterday. Hopefully can get that sorted on Monday.

Can't remember when we put the MR in now, think it's maybe 6 weeks come Monday? Might phone them again next week to check they got the requested letters from Counsellor and GP.

This is a bit of a no news update - sorry!

Wishing luck and sending The Vibes to everyone else going through all this stuff. Hopefully Justice will prevail for all who are fighting this iniquitous system.

Best wishes from Liverpool, Maggie

Today was Brown Envelope Day. It wasn't good news :( other than they keep me on standard level for both Daily Living and Moving Around.

It was dated 30 November, so my request for Tribunal will have to be with the Tribunal Service by 28 December. So effectively I only have about a week and a half before sending it off - will send Next Day Guaranteed, but not sure if it's really "Guaranteed" over Xmas time, so will make sure there's plenty of time for it to get there Just In Case!

Today I hit the Gin! Tomorrow I start putting my papers in order. We've already got 2 copies of the form needed to apply for Tribunal printed off - one for practice and one in case I FU the first. ;)

Sorry to hear this maggie :(

Having a spare copy of the form is a great idea!

OK, had a couple of G&Ts but still relatively capable maybe! ;)

The letter says " As your needs vary, my decision is based on the help you need most days. Upon receipt of your medical evidence I sought further medical advice from the Health professional. They confirmed that the GP letter received referred to your bad days as 1 to 2 days a week, which is not for the majority of the time and under PIP guidance I can only consider the help you need for most of the time."

Can I ask for a copy of my GPs letter from DWP or Atos at this point in time? (just turned down on MR) To be honest I'd be surprised if she wrote that, but who knows! Sounds to me like only Atos got the letter, so they can say whatever they like. They've lied over and over in all my original stuff - or their so called med professional did. Wouldn't really surprise me if they lied over this as well.

Husband went to GP practice this afternoon, they were very helpful and looked up stuff for him (he did have proof of my identity) all they have on their system is GP replied on 8 November. No copy of letter. GP's been off work for 3 weeks now - don't know if ill or holiday - so can't get in touch to ask.

If I can find a suitable site I'll photograph the stuff and put it up here later. It's a work of art when it comes to twisting my evidence.
