I understand your anxiety but I am afraid there is no point your ringing them to tell them that you are going to ring them!
The call is just to start your PIP claim, all the questions are in the PIP Claim guide, make yourself a list of answer and try and pick a time to ring them when you will be able to deal with your anxiety, calling as soon as the lines open at 8am should result in you not having to wait too long for the call to be picked up.

1st sept its 12th today called them up to ask for an extension as I'd have to return the form
by oct 1st so its extended till 13th Oct ..have CAB appt on the 22nd Sept now have to collect evidence and photo copy them and then get my head around this form from Hell!!
Just one look at the thing and I'm certain its designed to daze and confuse you...I get higher mobility and middle rate care and it was indefinite I fell short of the cut off line april 2013
by two months I'm now 68, I have a progressive illness apart from osteo arthritis mental
health issues mood swings, depression, severe back and joint pains lot of it caused by my
disease they did try and treat me but it failed at this point I'm just waiting to meet my maker
but they won't even let me do that in peace lol..I have lost three kilos since they sent me the first letter now there is weeks of stress and anxiety to look forward to..but I'll crack on so I'll be back here on certain points as I try to make sense of it all...this site is heaven sent..I now just have to focus and put emotions aside easier said than done....thanks all whom have helped!
