Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Dizzy
It may be that they accepted your problems with walking and that is why the subject was not raised.
You can request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office that is dealing with your claim.

You can request a copy of the report a few days after your assessment. Most claimants receive it quite promptly but we do have a couple of members who were told they must wait until a decision is made.
You should ring the number on any letter from DWPminj relation to your PIP claim and/or write to the same address to which you sent the PIP2 form.

I haven't received my official decision letter yet but have received a copy of the assessment report.
I have used the PIP self test and ticked the boxes that the assessor has used and I scored 8 points for daily living and 10 points for mobility, giving me standard rates in both. not only that but the assessor has stated that no review is needed.
If this is accepted by the DWP I will be WELL PLEASED. Please tell me that it is very likely that the DWP agree with this.

Hi Dizzy,
It is uncommon for DWP to go against the assessor's recommendation.

I have just telephoned the DWP because I still haven't received my pip decision. I have been told that the decision is in the post and I have in fact been awarded standard rate daily living and standard rate mobility for an on going period. I am very pleased with this award and relieved that this is all over now.
Many many thanks B&W, Gordon and Mrs HB for your help and support through all of this and also a big thank you to member Mark for his useful replies to one of my previous posts.
