I appreciate your dilemma but I can't tell you what to include or not, this is a decision that only you can make. As long as the information you provide is consistent with what you included in your last form then there should be no issues.

Hi,

Just to let you know that I have sent my form today. It needs to be there by Tuesday the 6th December. I sent it by special delivery. I finally managed to complete this new form. (AR1). I hope it gets there ok before deadline. Completing the form was quick but thinking of how to complete and gathering evidences took so much time for me. I cannot concentrate easy and longer than 10 minutes .
I will update you when I hear anything.
Thank you so much for all your help B & W

Hi again ,
I sent my AR1 form almost 2 weeks ago . Until yesterday afternoon I didn't receive any letter etc. I received a phone call yesterday from decision maker (DWP). Firstly she said she extended my award for another 18 months. Then she gave me a name of herbal medicine to help my condition.( I have a auto immune disease and there is no cure.) I tried to explain this to her bu she insisted that 'I would be better if I take this medicine '. I thanked her and told her I can certainly try this too and I will ask my consultant about this. I told her of course I want to get better . I was left very shocked because she has no knowledge of my illness but still insisted me to tajw that medicine. I wish it was that easy to get better. What do you think of this ? Is this normal ?
I have been receiving both high rates of pip. I didn't ask her if I keep them or of she reduced them . Last time I received 3 years award but I had my review 1 year early this December. So, she said my award is 18 months now. Will that mean I will have a review again 6 months later ??
I know I should have asked her while I was on the phone but I was very unwell and confused. Hopefully I will get my letter soon but I wanted to share this with you and ask your opinions.

Thank you very much again.

A slightly restrained congratulations as the award is short but well done.

If they have said that they are extending the award then this could mean two things and I'm afraid you will have to wait for the Decision Letter to see which they opted for. It can either be 18 months from the date of the Decision or 18 months from the original end date of your award. I'm hoping it is the latter as it would make more sense as I expect you to be reassessed a year in advance of the award ending.

The DM's comments are somewhat bizarre, DM are not required to have any medical knowledge and their suggesting treatments is inappropriate (in the extreme), however maybe they have direct experience of the remedy and that is why they have suggested it. Mention it to your Consultant but I would not use it without their permission, although I suspect you are not going to do so without speaking to them.

Thank you so much for your quick reply Gordon.
I hope I won't have to go through this again 6 months later but of course if they awarded me with higher rates on both again I am happy. It's better than loosing it all . (I can only believe my award when I see it

I will certainly ask my consultant about this herbal remedy. It was so unexpected to be honest hence why I couldn't ask questions about my award.

I will update you once I receive the letter.

Many thanks again.
