Hi Gordon,
i went to my pip assessment, i named the things wrong with me, backed up with evidence that i had taken with me, and gave it to her , plus also sent another copy into PIP also same into ESA but unfortunately due to my anxiety and the extreme pain with my back and my hips the assessor could see, half way through the assessment i had to ask for water and take aa tablet to help me to calm down, due to this this i failed to mention my knee, which was part of my first claim, she did ask me is there anything else but i felt /looked so ill. the next day i was mentally and physically drained, looked like i been run over by a bus... i just couldn't really explain myself as much as i felt i need to

i now feel that i will not get the points that i need for the care side..... and i will have to do a MR , but i will wait for the outcome
can i asked if i have to do an MR could i lose any points that they may award me? in lame men terms as i feel as if i cant take much more of this !!!

at the time when i was awarded 15 points for moblity,as i couldn't actually walk i didn't even apply for blue page as at the time i wasn't aware i could get it , also car tax /bus pass

thank you for all your help and advice i really appreciate it

An MR or appeal remakes the Decision this means that both can result in a change of points both up and down. In practice it happens quite rarely but it certainly does happen on occasion.

You can ask the DWP for a copy of the report, just phone or write to the DWP office dealing with your claim.

Hi Gordon,

i have received my pip award and i have 8 points for care which im happy with,

however, today (saturday morning 3rd december ) ive received a letter from esa saying that my claim has an end date of 30th november 2016, i was in the support group, esa contribution based , also said my husband will have to attend a work focus interview when in fact he has a full time job hence cb esa.
im honestly not in a good place mentally, my dr now put me on timazpam since my medical for pip, it wasnt because of the pip med so where do i go from here!!!!

im obviously be phoning monday morning as to what is happening with my claim,,,

Hi Sunflower,

I am glad that you are happy with your PIP decision :)

Don't worry about the ESA letter, the November date is simply when the Christmas bonus payment is calculated, it has nothing to do with the duration of the award.
