Thanks Gordon
On the not being able to use the same evidence for a deterioration.
The Letter I had from my GP said that I needed help washing and dressing and that my husband did all the housework. The DWP decided I didn't need help.
If I went back because I said I had declined that letter wouldn't change as the GP would still say I needed help to get in and out the bath/shower, wash and dress.
I have mri and ct to show problems with my neck and shoulders, that surely is still relevant too.
If I was claiming for enhanced in the first place and the evidence supported that, what now is the best way forward? Should I appeal against the new reward, that even the DWP stated they had awarded 'on the assessors decision, despite the medical evidence'
Thanks again for your help.

I'm afraid this is the Catch 22 of PIP Decisions.

You have two options;

- you can appeal the new DWP Decision in the hope of increasing the award. It will be a new appeal from scratch.

- you can still request a reassessment of your claim but without any new evidence it is unlikely, although not impossible, that it will result in an increased award.

Hi
If I wait for them to reassess me does the same apply i.e do I have to provide new evidence?
My evidence does include scans that show osteoarthritis, it's impossible for it to go away and I can't ask for new scans just to keep the DWP happy.
Thanks Gordon

No you don;t need to provide new evidence, but if you submit what you sent in before then it will depreciated in line with it's age unless you can show that it still relevant to your conditions as they are at that time.
