It is perfectly OK to take written notes of the assessment - or to have someone with you to do it for you.

ok i had my pip assessment this afternoon which i will go further into at a later date, the guy was friendly enough but told me he had most of the info he needed from my form and so the assessment lasted a full 32 minutes, my question is to the the mods and anyone else who wants to chip in is..... has anyone had such a short assessment? i was expecting to be in a lot longer, at least an hour.! i must admit that i was in a hell of a state from the moment i arrived and it was obvious i was in some distress, my partner even ended up in tears shocked as she has never seen me fall apart the way i did today, my partner has to do all the keyboard work when i speak to you guys but tonight she is still shocked at how this so called fair system is bringing people the their knees.
but 32 minutes, that has me worrying all over again.

We've seen members have shorter assessments and receive Enhanced for both and others have much longer assessments only to receive no award.
If you want to, you can request a copy of the assessment report, give the DWP office dealing with your claim a call mid next week.
