I am worried that I may be writing to much for each answer, I'm starting each answer referring back to his various illnesses...( Because of my fibromyalgia fatigue anxiety and depression) I find this difficult or I can't do this activity etc. Also I seem to be writing lots for each answer except for the ones that don't affect him much as I feel i'm not getting things across unless I write a lot.
But then I think they won't read it all because it's too much.

It is making me feel ill and I've done it on scrap paper first so when I've finished that I'll copy it over to the form and extra pages. I've got him an extension to 16th so have got get it done and posted by next thurs at the latest (special delivery) Are the post opening centres open on Saturdays?

Any advice that any of you could give me would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

There is no right or wrong amount of information to include, what I will say is that most people tend to waffle in their first draft of a response and that a second one is usually a lot shorter and to the point, but you have to balance this against your health and what you are able to achieve.

If I had to go in one direction than the other then I would say that a complete explanation was better than a concise one,

If your answer are quite long then try and make sure that they are well laid out and easy to read.

You can type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the PIP2, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.

Attach the pages to the back of the PIP2 using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.

What do you mean by scanned are they put through a machine? On ESA froms there were so many that I had to staple extra answer pages to more extra answer pages?

Yes, the form and extra pages will be put into a scanner machine so that they can be read directly from the computer.
