Should I just phone for it or write for the 85a form.

They are so useless, I have POA sent docs to pip, thought it would go to all in dwp. Now got to fill in yet another form for ESA they are going to send it out even thou they have the documents emailed over from pip dept to ESA.

Surely they know a proper POA signed and sorted out by a solicitor is good enough.

Either should work, phoning is usually simpler and quicker.

The DWP operate their own Appointee scheme. See

Sent appointee form filled in through job centre by internal mail. Lady at jc said if you have financial & welfare POA they don't really need the form as what I have is better.

Unfortunately the staff in the call centres are not well trained and often make claimants jump through hoops that they shouldn't have to.

Hello just checked bank account flat due 21st Feb £307.60 every weeks.

Just noticed a payment gone in on 14th Feb for £230.70, 1 week earlier and less than the £307.60 normally received.

Is this normal? Can anybody tell from the amount in bank what he has been awarded? No letter as of yet.

Many thanks

You'll have to ring them on Monday, without knowing the period it covers, which might not be two weeks, it's impossible to say what the amount corresponds to.
