I am now in receipt of assessor report.
May I ask what a DM does once they have the report? Can they challenge or change the assessor opinions.
Thank you.

It would be unusual for a DM to go against the assessors report, they are most likely to do this if there are significant differences between the report and the claimants evidence or if the assessor has not followed the law.

I have my fingers x for a successful claim then. The assessor was supportive and told me to MR if for any reason I didn't get it but looking at the report and how comprehensive it was, I hope to be reporting some positive news shortly.
