We have had a number of members report this happening, I'm sure those members would disagree but my feeling is that it is just coincidence.

Make sure you use the latest ESA guides. if nothing else there have been changes to the DWP guidance over the last year.

Thank you Gordon!

Not the best way to spend easter bank holiday is it? I've only just had a quick look through the ESA form and thought that it actually looked worse than the PIP form. I noted a question about getting up from a chair with arms on and moving yourself to another chair next to it! Absolutely crazy, the questions on these forms get worse every year

Good evening, hope you all enjoyed your break?

My husband has his f2f PIP assessment 6/6. I have got some extra evidence to send, although dating back to 2012 upto 2014. I know that I have been advised by the B&W team to send copies to the DWP and the assessors. Can I just check that I am sending to the DWP at Wolverhampton and Assessors at Leeds?

Is there anything that I need to be aware of for his f2f next week? Makes me laugh really, being assessed by a firm of physios for physical problems, fair enough but mainly mental health issues! What domyhey actually know?

Any tips would be very much appreciated

It really depends on how important you think the extra evidence is? If you think that it has the capability to remove the need for a face to face then I would definitely send it now to both the DWP and the Assessment Provider.

The DWP office will be a Wolverhampton Address, the AP will be the same as the address for his face to face.

If you think that the evidence is supportive not significant then you might want to think about whether to send it in advance or not.

Whatever you do, take a copy with you to the assessment and ask the assessor to read it before they start the interview and to include it in his file.

There's a section at the back of the PIP Claim guide that covers the assessment and the questions he is likely to be asked.

Hi,

I am just wondering, my hubby has his assessment at a private physio firm. Will the assessor actually work for this firm or is it just that Atos use their premises?

Thank you

ATOS will be renting office space from the firm, the assessor will be employed by ATOS.
